Definitions:
The parties to the agreement
"Buyer" is used in the following on the physical person who places an order to African House and thereby makes an offer to purchase certain goods.
"African House" is used in the following both on the physical or legal person who, by order confirmation accepts the order of the Buyer and sells the goods ordered, African House is also used about the website from which goods are presented and ordered.

Prices:
All prices are current prices and only valid on the day of the order. Therefore, price changes can occur.
All prices quoted are inclusive of 25% VAT.
Ordering:
Presentation of goods together with a price at African House is not a binding offer, but merely an invitation to make offers.
A buyer ordering goods from African House does not constitute a binding acceptance, but a binding offer to African House to buy the item at the given conditions.
A binding agreement between buyer and African House is first entered into, when African House accepts the buyer's bidding by an order confirmation.
Payment:
The account information you enter when purchasing goods will be sent directly to PBS in encrypted form (SSL) which only you and PBS can read. Thus, there is no one else who sees or stores information about you. For purchases with credit card the amount is deducted from your account as soon as the goods are sent from African House.
The risk of accidental destruction or deterioration:
Only at the time when the goods ordered have come in the buyer's possession, the risk that the goods ordered are destroyed or damaged due to accidental circumstances, is passed to the buyer.
Complaints:
According to the Danish Sale of Goods Act, African House provides a 2-year guarantee from date of invoice on manufacturing and material defects. The warranty does not cover faults, damages or wear, directly or indirectly caused by wrong use, poor maintenance, violence or unauthorized intervention. The 2-year guarantee does not apply for food and cosmetic products.
The invoice must be submitted to African House in connection with a complaint.
Possible complaints over faulty delivered products shall, after the buyer has or ought to have discovered the defect be made to African House within a reasonable time. Otherwise, the buyer loses his/her right to rely on a lack of conformity of the goods.
You are requested to indicate and on demand show, wherein the defect consists.

African House has made it easy for you to get relevant information on other websites through links. These websites are outside African House's control. We can therefore in no way be held responsible for the content on these pages.
Information on the goods ordered from such websites are not included in the description of the goods ordered in the agreement between the buyer and African House.
Seller shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss as a result of a delay of the ordered goods, or if the ordered goods suffer from deficiencies when the delay or shortcomings caused by the buyer or by any omission or circumstances which are outside African House's control, such as war, rebellion, violence, fire, intervention by the State, seizure, currency restrictions, labour disputes of any kind , including strike and lockout, or the like.
African House gives off no independent guarantee of the goods ordered, and the buyer obtains only the warranties, the manufacturer shall issue to the satisfaction of the buyer.
Right of Cancellation & Refund Policy
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive the goods. You must notify African House, that you wish to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day you received the item. You then have a further 14 days to return the item. You will then get a refund of the paid amount and delivery costs. Please note that you pay the costs for returning the item. We do not refund the price of food and cosmetics, if the packaging is broken or the item is damaged. When returning the goods please send the product securely packaged, together with a copy of the invoice and please write clearly that you wish to make use of the right of cancellation and that you therefore wish to receive a repay of the price.
You can also regret your purchase by denying receipt of the shipment.
These return policies apply to all goods sold as distance sales to private - it does not apply to goods sold to businesses.

African House reserves the right to change and update the rules and conditions applicable to this website. It is therefore important that you regularly keep yourself informed about changes.
Delivery times:
Unless otherwise stated, delivery time is 1-3 days within Denmark. To countries outside Denmark, the delivery time can be longer.
Abuse:
Abuse of African House will be reported to the police.
